Binance said on Twitter that they’re the official sponsor for “After Hours Til Dawn.” tour by the music band, The Weeknd. The tour is the world’s first worldwide concert tour to use Web 3.0 technologies to improve the fan experience. Binance Global Tour With The Weekend First to Use Web 3.0 Technologies On 8th June, Binance will be the official sponsor of the “After Hours Till Dawn” tour by The Weekend. It’s the first international concert tour to use Web 3.0 technologies to improve the fan experience. They will be using NFT tokens to create a unique collection for The Weekend’s tour. They’ll also be using co-branded tour items as part of Binance’s collaboration with HXOUSE. Those who have virtual ticket stubs will be able to access NFTs that commemorate the event. The Weekend started the XO Humanitarian Fund earlier in 2022 to help the WFP save lives in places globally where people are starving. Binance will give about $2M to the XO Humanitarian Fund run by WFP USA to commemorate the start of the tour. Binance and Weekend are also collaborating on an NFT line, with 5% of proceeds going to the XO Humanitarian Fund. Binance will be releasing more information on the NFT collection later.
