Voyager Digital appoints former acting comptroller of the currency to its board

Cryptocurrency platform Voyager Digital (OTCQX:VYGVF) appoints the former Acting Comptroller of the U.S. Currency at the Comptroller of the Currency, Brian Brooks, to the company's board of directors effective immediately. Prior to his position at the agency, Brooks served as chief legal officer at crypto exchange Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN), and is now CEO of Bitfury Group. "Brian's extensive background as an executive at major crypto companies and as the leader of important government regulatory initiatives in the crypto space will help propel the growth of digital assets and Voyager's business," said Voyager Digital Chairman Philip Eytan. Meanwhile, shares of (OTCQX:VYGVF -5.5%), like most of the global crypto market place, extend further to the downside. In mid-November, Voyager Digital's CEO said we're still in the early stages of crypto adoption.
